Woman writes letter to dog breeder is creepy (Video)

Lily is an Italian Greyhound female who served as an example to show the worst face of uncontrolled pet breeding.

According to the person who cared for her to the end, the dog spent most of his life in a dog breeding.

The difficult start

“Used to bring offspring to the world that would later be sold to the highest bidder,” say those who know her case firsthand.

After years of suffering in the pits, Lily has been sold at auction for $ 20 (around 20 euros).

Lily’s new life

Fortunately, the dog fell into the hands of the volunteers refuge National Mill Dog Rescue, located in Colorado (United States). There he not only found love, but he also learned what it means to have a family and, moreover, it has become the mascot of the refuge.

The letter to the breeder

After spending time at the association, Lily moved in with a volunteer, who took care of her until the end of her days.

When her human learned about the dog’s past, she was very moved and decided to write a letter to Lily’s former breeder.

A moving and heartbreaking epistle that began as follows:

“Martha, I have practically devoted my entire life to rescuing dogs. What I saw from you is anything but human. “

And he continued referring to the state of physical and mental health of the dogs as well as the living conditions to which they were subjected:

“No dog I have cared for in over 25 years of rescues has suffered physical and emotional damage like your dogs.”

The operator of the National Mill Dog Rescue she said she was still haunted in her dreams by him scared eyes of the fours who lived in the same facility as Lily.

“Even if the farmer has acted according to US regulations, no animal should live this way,” said the activist.

Additionally, the woman pointed out in her letter that she had a meeting with Martha the day she auctioned off the dog. Her approach continues to amaze her because the breeder claimed to love her Italian Greyhounds.

“You don’t like dogs, Martha. Surely you have spent forty years of your God-given life using dogs for your personal gain. ‘

So replied the animal welfare activist in her letter. And he added:

«Lily died on May 13, 2008 at the age of 8. Martha, she died from the abandonment she was subjected to for 7 years. ‘

These dogs deserve better

The letter is an appeal to the world for the competent bodies to control dog farms and to know the negative aspects of raising animals in an uncontrolled way.

Despite the drama, the woman who cared for Lily for the last year of her life said the dog was able to experience what it means to be truly loved. But even this is not granted to many other farm animals that share the same cruel fate as Lily.

Don’t buy, adopt!

Before buying a pet, think about adopting it. Shelters all over Italy are full of dogs (and cats) looking for a second chance.
