This harmless close-up of a dog’s nose immediately raises the suspicions of experts – something is wrong. The dog’s mother, Tess H., had an incredible experience when she saw the nose of her Taco.

The woman had just adopted the big dog two months ago, but that red bump on her nose was definitely new. Had Taco been stung by a wasp or was it a small abscess?

A strange bump

Tess, who works in a veterinary clinic herself, bravely takes matters into her own hands. She presses the bulge first, then she grabs a pair of tweezers and manages to grab something, but what she pulls out of her dog’s nose almost makes her scream. It is something whitish, threadlike with a length of almost four centimeters. Tess has a bad feeling.

Without hesitation, he asks the veterinarians at his clinic for advice, who immediately understand what it is. Taco’s owner has extracted a nematode from her dog’s nose, a worm that carries filariasis, a disease that is serious enough for Fido.

Luckily the worm was caught early and now Taco is fine!
