A story that has an unusual one that happened in Tennessee. Jill Hicks was out for dinner when she saw her something running in the bushes and head towards the street.
So he decides to get closer little by little, but he doesn’t immediately notice who he was about to take home.
The rescue
Jill Hicks approaches what looked like a bunny from a distance, and so she approaches him to save him from the dangers of the road.
“When I got closer, I looked at him better and thought:”it’s a tiny kitten“! So I stepped forward and surprisingly he didn’t run away. I put him in the car with me and he immediately climbed onto my legs,” says the woman.
Jill, who has always been a lover of animals, already owns a nice big dog and an elderly cat, and to avoid discontent, she temporarily puts the kitten in the garage with all the comforts: food, water and a warm sweater, waiting for what to do.
The incredible discovery
Shortly thereafter, the woman tells her about the discovery closewho intrigued asks her to show it to him in order to help her with the adoption of the “kitten”.
Only then, looking at him carefully, do the two women realize that there is actually something strange about that feline: those pointed ears, those too big paws: it was a puppy of Bobcat!
The “kitten” has returned home
Realizing the mistake, Jill immediately contacts a volunteer from a local Wildlife Rescue Center, who has treated the special kitten with great professionalism. After the first treatments e a few months of rehabilitation in a habitat suitable for her, she will be released permanently in the wild, at her home.
The Red Lynx it is not an endangered species, but the main cause of death of this animal is man. For Jill it was an incredible experience: “She stole a piece of my heart, which will be hers forever!” and we could say the same. Isn’t she wonderful?
