The Queen Elizabeth it was a big one dog lover: in his life he had more than 30 Corgi and Dorgi, a cross between Corgi and Bassotto.
Among the various Dorgi, Candy kept her company from afar 2004 and she was Susan’s last descendant, the first Royal Corgi.
The hard blow for the Queen
You know, you are never ready to say goodbye to a four-legged friend, even less when you have shared 18 years of your life with him.
Sources close to the royals, in fact, stated that at the death of Dorgi Candy, which occurred on July 22nd upon arrival a Balmorala Scottish summer residence, Queen Elizabeth has suffered a severe blow.
The sovereign was in fact particularly attached to this dog to which she had given the same name as her husband’s favorite Labrador.
In February 2022 the Queen and Candy had excited all royal fans after a video was released of the little dog sneaking into a royal room and the queen gently stroking his nose.
There are not many folk who’d be excused for interrupting the Queen during a filming session. The burial
Contrary to the protocol, according to which a dead dog must be buried in the place where he lived his last moments of life, Queen Elizabeth had decided to return him to London to bury him in Windsor with Vulcan, another great loss of the sovereign.
Now they will all be back in the sky and are ready to run happy again all together.
