After devoting 13 of the 14 years of his life to others, Ricochet can now retire. This dog is famous for having practiced “surf therapy” for the benefit of a large number of people with disabilities. We told you about it recently.

Recipient of the Purple Hearthe is the last person to have benefited from the precious support of Ricocheta surf therapy dog, during a session organized off the coast of La Jolla Shoresclose to San Diego in California.
This is Judy Fridonothe owner of this adorable dog, who had taught her to surf, then to assist children and veterans of the armed forces with disabilities by standing alongside them on the board.

Ricochet had started his career in 2009 with a quadriplegic teenager. It also took part in nearly 150 fundraising events that raised a total of one million euros for the benefit of 250 people and charities.
Now she is the one who needs help, because of her age, but also because of the serious health problems she suffers from. The latest veterinary examinations have, in fact, revealed kidney disease, liver cancer and arthritis in the spine in the canine.
The announcement was made on the account Instagram which is dedicated to him, and moved many Internet users who expressed their support and sympathy in the comments.
