Sometimes the human mind cannot be understood. We cannot understand how evil can exist in the world, nor how every puppy can’t have a home ready to give him all the warmth he deserves.
This is Baldo’s story, but not only his. Like him there are many other dogs around Italy just waiting to be understood.
The find
Baldo had only six months when it was found by zoophile guards of the OIPA of Piacenza. She was living with a at the time pack of dogs between the icy mountains of Piacenza and was fed, as well as his brothers, to pieces of bread and water.
Still a puppy and intimidated by the males of his pack, Baldo it was getting small to avoid incurring the wrath of the elders. Yet this confidentiality of him has allowed him to overcome the dangers of the mountains and the stray life. Until he was rescuedtogether with his brothers, by the OIPA guards.
Never anyone for him
It’s been three years he and all of his siblings have since been adopted, one by one. Except him. He who always remains shy and aloof, but you just need to pet him to see how big his heart is. Could it be for this reason that no one has yet wanted to adopt him? Can confidentiality really be a brake on adoption?
«Now night falls early and we have to leave him alone in the pen without light and this really breaks our hearts. We are sure that he feels abandoned, he who has always lived with his group with whom he shared everything », says Paola Monga, who took care of Baldo’s rescue.
The volunteers also say that during the walk, Baldo is delicate, but what is most striking is that it always turns to check that there is always someone with him, because the fear of being left alone it’s a lot. There is no other solution: Baldo needs to be loved! And forever!
