There is the most beautiful dog in the world, the smartest dog in the world and now there is also the ugliest dog in the world! And not only!
2022 saw 17-year-old dog Happy Face crowned world’s ugliest dog, but one society in the United Kingdomthe Parrot Printhas decided to launch the challenge even within its own country to name the most beautiful national freak.
The idea
The competition, whose winner expected to be unveiled in the month of Februaryaims to demonstrate that every dog is beautiful in its own way, although at first glance it may seem ugly.
“There are a lot of TV shows where humans get made up and given a makeover, so we thought it would be fun to do the same thing for a dog,” said Matt Dahan, founder of ParrotPrint.com.
The photography company received hundreds of submissions from which a tough judging panel selected seven finalists from across the country. The winner will therefore have right to a grooming and a photo shoot.
The seven finalists
Among the seven finalists, the most famous is Peggythe dog “Pugese” or a possible cross between a Pug and a Chinese crested dog, which was adopted by Holly Middleton when he was only six months old. Now Peggy has four years, on the street she always receives prying eyes, but her family loves her without ifs and buts. The story of her even ended up on a local tv show!
