After a brilliant career dedicated to providing security at an Indian airport, a dog is about to return to civilian life and enjoy a well-deserved retirement. In recognition of his service, a ceremony was held at his workplace.

His name has not been released, but a police dog who retired after years working at the airport was given his moment of fame and fame. A story told by The Indian Express Monday, August 8.
The video showing the festive procession was posted on August 5 on Twitter by a user calling himself Adarsh Hegde. The post quickly went viral on the social network, racking up nearly 2,000 retweets, 360,000 views and 13,000 likes to date.
We see the dog in question, a Labrador Retriever with a sand-colored coat, installed in a richly decorated convertible vehicle, and himself adorned with a beautiful crown of flowers. The procession is preceded by a column of uniformed police escorting it, as well as a Golden Retriever most likely belonging to its canine unit.

As the car slowly moves down the red carpet, flowers and confetti are thrown at the quadruped, who has therefore retired from serving with the airport police. Chennai, in the state of Tamil Nadu (south-eastern India). This is also where the party was held in his honor.
