What wouldn’t you do for a cookie! The gluttony of dogs, it is known, is a characteristic that unites them all and when it comes to eat some tasty morsels there is nothing they are not capable of inventing.
From sweet eyes to cuddles to annoying barking, our 4-legged friends don’t give up until they get what they want, but the story of Negro it shows that he has something extra.
The Negro Story
Negro is a very sweet dog adopted from a school campus in Colombia. Having become a sort of mascot and guardian of the boys while they study and do recreational activities, he has been adopted by the institute which provides him with a place to sleep and kibbles at will (plus everything he needs).
black but he discovered that there is a small shop in the campus garden where the students have a snack and buy biscuits during the break from lessons.
The touching gesture
Observing the students carefully, Negro understood they were getting a cookie when they gave the seller a coin. So his extreme intelligence led him to make an incredible gesture that no one would ever have imagined.
“He would go to the store and watch the kids give money and get something back. Then one day, spontaneously, he appeared with a leaf in his mouth, wagging his tail and making it clear that he wanted a cookie,” said a teacher.
Negro used a leaf as a coin in exchange for a cookie which, of course, he was granted. The seller could not resist the sweetness of him:
“He comes every day for the cookies. He always pays with a leaf, it’s his daily purchase. When I first saw it, I almost wanted to cry. He has found a way to make himself understood, he is very intelligent ».
Once again dogs never cease to amaze!
