There are many stories of animals pretending to be other animals: how many times have we seen cats who believe themselves to be dogs and vice versa? Today’s story is a bit different than usual and leaves us speechless!
This time it was humans who mistaken a wolf for something not so different …
Wolf, wolf!
One September morning, an elderly woman called the Oklahoma Police Station saying, “There’s a wolf walking near my house! Do something, I’m afraid to go out! ».
The rescue, therefore, arrived immediately, informing the animal protection services, since nothing was known about the conditions of the wolf. But when the agents arrived on the spot, things did not go as planned: the wolf ran towards him, wagging his tail!
One of the agents called the station to ask for a check on the missing animals and discovered that a few days earlier someone had reported the disappearance of a dog whose description corresponded exactly to the “dangerous wolf”!
85% wolf and 15% malamute
However, to do justice to the terrified woman, it should be emphasized that the blood of her wolf ancestor runs in the veins of the found dog! And 15% of the Malamute crossbreed really makes the dog big and impressive!
The police returned the dog to its rightful owner and the woman, reassured, was finally able to set foot outside the house!
