Service dog Kaya’s final flight leaves everyone in tears (Video)

A poignant video is making the rounds of the web, in which Soa purebred female German Shepherd, can be seen taking hers last flight with the Southwest Airlines on February 2, 2023.

The police dog has traveled with the airline for years to provide comfort and support to servicemen suffering from PTSD. After undergoing special training, since 2014 Kaya has participated in over 250 meetings e 350 likes along with his handler Cole Lyle. Then, unfortunately, the diagnosis of an incurable cancer.

Kaya’s excruciating last flight

The military accompanied the big dog for her last flight aboard the airline, while she rested on a comfortable kennel.

The Southwest Airlines he also shared some pictures of Kaya being carried by her owner, saying:

“We were honored to bring home our loyal friend and hero, Kaya, to rest after a lifetime of hard work. Over the course of his career, he has flown with us more than 250 times to help establish the PAWS Act that united veterans with guide dogs.

As several crew members cheered, the guide dog woke up to see so many people cheering on her.

Cole, her handler, later tweeted that the dog had been euthanized on February 5, 2023. Below is his heartfelt farewell message:
