Goodbye to Eclipse, the Labrador who took the bus alone to go to the park

With great regret today we give the sad news of the disappearance of Eclipsea friendly and sociable black Labrador female who is well known in the American city of Seattle.

For those who remember her, years ago we told about her extravagant story. She used to often take the bus with her owner to go to the park, one day the latter has other plans for them.

A dog with astonishing intelligence

Without hesitation, the intrepid and independent dog decides to fend for herself and she takes the bus completely by herself! Worried, her human decides to follow her and discovers that her adorable puppy gets off right at the park stop!

Since that day, Eclipse has always taken the bus in total independence, both there and back, and sat politely on the seats. In a short time it has become the darling of all the commuters and travelers on that bus line, as well as the entire neighborhood.

Having also become famous outside the city of Seattle, one was created Facebook page dedicated to herwhich has nearly 123,000 fans.

Eclipse’s death grieves everyone

Unfortunately, however, on Friday 14 October Eclipse passed away, at about 10 years of age. She left a great emptiness in the hearts of her family and of all those who have had the good fortune to know her and to be close to her.

As the managers of the Facebook page announce, Eclipse will be cremated. In expressing their displeasure, many Internet users have proposed to to have a statue made near the bus stop that used to frequent the four-legged.
