Girl jumps with her cat to escape the flames in a building (Video)

L’fire which took place last October 25 in a condominium in Jerez, in Spainleft heart-pounding images like the ones in this video.

In the clip posted on Twitter, a large apartment building is seen surrounded by thick black smoke. The fire, originally started on the first floor, quickly spread to all five floors.

The flames flare up in the building

At one point, a girl is seen sitting on a ledge on the first floor of the building with her cat in her arms.

When he bravely escapes from his burning apartment, he makes sure to save her cat too. Without thinking twice, she takes the feline and holds him in her arms as he escapes to safety.

But the danger was far from over.

Help from the neighbors was crucial

Worried about the girl, the neighbors begin to gather in the area below. As smoke rises from the building, they yell at her to drop the cat on them so they can safely grab it.

The girl leans over the edge and drops her beloved four-legged friend into the arms of the crowd below. With the cat safely on the groundthe crowd joins their arms so that she too could land without getting hurt.

Both escaped the danger and were able to hug again, happy to have made it. In addition to the woman and her cat, seven people were evacuated. There would be no casualties.
