Firefighters and agents from an electrical company had to deploy the greatest possible means to rescue a cat in bad shape. The latter had climbed to the top of a pole and could no longer come down. Residents worried about his fate had warned the emergency services.

It was an unusual rescue that firefighters and employees of the local electric company had to carry out in Grants Passa city in the county of Josephine in southwestern Oregon. A story told by KTVL.
The facts took place on Tuesday, August 23. That day, local residents had seen a ginger cat that was meowing in distress from the top of a post. The feline had managed to climb all the way up, before realizing that he was no longer able to come down. All he had to do was call for help and hope he was heard.
Concerned witnesses informed the authorities. The local fire and rescue center immediately dispatched a truck to the scene, but firefighters needed extra resources to be able to reach the cat’s location. So they called the power company Pacific Powerwho dispatched his agents.

Face finds the ground of the cows
The 2 teams joined their efforts to save the animal. A telescopic basket was deployed, which allowed one of the responders to join the quadruped to recover it and bring it down safely. His rescuers decided to call him Face.
As soon as he arrived downstairs, Face, visibly safe and sound, preferred to take to their heels. We will therefore probably never know if it is a stray cat or that of a family that had gone astray.
Anyway, he was out of this mess and can resume the normal course of his life.
