We had already told you about the story of Ghost, the dog spotted with a pack of coyotes in the desert of Nevada (United States), nicknamed “ghost” because every time someone tried to get close, they disappeared into thin air.
Yet, after several attempts, Ghost has been “captured” and brought to safety by Susan McMullenof the Southern Nevada Trapping Team, and his team. His story reached the whole world and thanks to this popularity, his life took a turn.
And he!
While they were watching the local news, i coniugi cabadaof Los Angeles, saw the story of Ghost on TV: there was no doubt, that was right their dog Hades! Hades, however, had not been vaccinated or microchipped. The only way the Cabadas had to prove ownership was their photos.
After contacting Susan McMullen several times, Hades’ owners decide to go directly in person, but for Susan that is Ghost and not Hades and she refuses to hand over the dog. Thus, one was born heated confrontation to which the must intervene police.
The intervention of Animal Foundation
The agents, unable to establish who the dog belonged to, decide to call the animal protectionwho entrusts the dog to the association Animal Foundationon February 4, where stay for nine days.
“Last week I felt terrible. I had anxiety and a knot in my chest. Then everything passed when she recognized us,” Christy Cabada told the local press.
Animal Foundation has, in fact, allowed a meeting between the dog and the presumed owners; when Hades saw them he started running and wagging his tail with joy. There was no doubt: that was their dog! A perfect gift in time for Valentine’s Day!
The other side of the coin
In the meantime, however, Susan McMullen, via the association’s Facebook page furry love (on which you can follow all the updates on the case), keep fighting to get back what she thinks is her Ghost, uncared for, abandoned and unsearched for 7 months, until he became famous.
