Polaris has been abandoned at the airport international in San Francisco later this summer.

Thanks to an employee of United Airlinesthe blackmaned dog now has a rosy future ahead of him.

Polaris had arrived at the California airport with a traveler from an international destination.

The man, however, continued without the four-legged, since the documentation for the entry of the dog in the United States it was retained not valid.

Polaris, was then quarantined in a Los Angeles facility until it was deemed safe to remain in the country.

The decision of United Airlines

The Air company United Airlines ensured that Polaris completed the requirements to enter the United States.

Along with the animal shelter San Francisco SPCAthe crew worked hard to find Polaris a forever home, as well as caring for him by providing him with food, snacks, and toys.

New life for Polaris

On December 15, the United Airlines organized one adoption party at the airport in which Polaris was abandoned and donated 5,000 dollars (about 4,700 euros) to the SPCA of San Francisco.

Nearly 30 airline employees have applied to adopt Polaris. In the end, it was the Captain William Dale and his family to adopt the big dog.
