A ranking to be taken with tweezers

Be careful though! That doesn’t mean the dogs featured in this ranking aren’t amazing pets!

In fact, they can become affectionate with time and if stimulated to be, but it will take patience to teach them that they can indulge in a little mawkishness.

1. Cane Corso

The Cane Corso is a guard dog like the Neapolitan Mastiff, very loyal to its master, but with a tendency to be wary with strangers.

Its size can be intimidating. It’s a dog that needs one solid education.

2. Poodle

The Poodle needs a lot of attention and lots of exercise.

He is an extremely intelligent dog who can turn out to be quite demanding with the bosses.

3. German Shepherd

The German Shepherd is an unaffectionate dog due to the history of its breed: it is basically a watchdog.

May have some hypervigilance reflexes and be wary towards people he doesn’t know.

4. Beauce Sheepdog

Beauce Sheepdogs can sometimes have a behavior detached and prefer discipline to the affection of humans.

5. Shetland Shepherd

7. Basenji

The Basenji is a dog independent, lively and intelligent.

He can be a little wary of people he doesn’t know.

As a good shepherd dog he really takes his mission to heart.

9. Tibetan Mastiff

Tibetan Mastiffs historically guarded monasteries and protected them from bears and wolves.

Although they look like cute teddy bears, they love to be in control and they are unwilling to cuddle.

Obviously, this information is just the opinion by Kamal Fernandez and do not necessarily reflect an absolute and general truth.
