Six skeletal Pit Bulls with bedsores, forced to live in cramped stalls full of faeces and urine and without water: this is the nightmare scenario who found themselves in front of the Oipa ecozoophile guards.
The poor animals were immediately seized by a amateur breeding in Brianza by the ecozoophile guards of the International Organization for the Protection of Animals in Milan.

The Oipa ecozoophile guards immediately contacted the Ats Brianza and the two veterinary doctors who attended visited the animals.
Fabio D’Aquila, coordinator of the Oipa zoophile guards of Milan and its province, said:
“The state and context in which we found the animals was dramatic. As soon as we entered, the scenario we found ourselves in front of was terrible: the floor of the pens was completely covered in faeces and urine, the dogs had no water and were so thin as to be almost skeletal, with bedsores on their bodies and not much alert to stimuli, one of them was sick and kept vomiting.

THOSE RESPONSIBLE REPORTED Skeletal, forced to live in boxes full of faeces and urine, without water and with bedsores on their bodies: the appalling scenario faced by the OIPA zoophile guards when they entered with the support of the Carabinieri inside an amateur farm in Brianza. Six pit bulls, five females and one male, impressively thin, lived in piles of excrement without even a bowl of water. Little vigilant to stimuli, one of them was sick and kept vomiting. Immediately seized and subjected to a veterinary examination, the animals are now in custody at the Fusi health kennel in Lissone. Also found during the inspection was a cage containing a parrot that had recently died of starvation. Both the keeper and the owner of the animals have been reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Monza. Complaint and seizure
With the support of the carabinieri of Agrate Brianza, the holder and the owner of the dogs were challenged i crimes of incompatible detention and ill-treatment.
Both were reported to the Public Prosecutor of the Court of Monza.
Currently, the Pit Bulls are in custody at the Fusi health kennel of Lissone which will host them until the Court of Monza decides for the confiscation and for the subsequent adoption by loving and responsible people.
Oipa’s appeal
Oipa operators invite to do not ignore cases of degradation and abuse of which you might be aware and to contact its zoophile guards who, in full respect of privacy, can intervene to protect the animals victims of such injustices.
