It might seem like yet another Halloween story, yet what we are about to tell you is a story that really happened in Henderson, near Las Vegasin the United States.
The inhabitants of the area have sighted for days and days a strange presence who was wandering around desert. The area was “inhabited” by a pack of coyotes, yet what the local men had seen did not appear to be a coyote. What if it was a ghost?
Ghost
But ghosts don’t exist (at least, hopefully!) and that little creature different from the pack was nothing more than a dog.
Named Ghost for obvious reasons, the pup was first spotted in the month of July 2022 and he seemed to have lived ever since in perfect harmony with the pack of coyotes. According to experts in the area, Ghost would have been abandoned in the desert when he was still just a puppy and the pack has accepted him as one of their own ever since.
The price to pay
Despite everything, however, Ghost was wounded. Probably, even if the coyotes had accepted him, they still hadn’t spared him a few blows to his face and body and the little “ghost” needed urgent Care.
Susan McMullen of the Southern Nevada Trapping Team, he thus decided to set a “trap” for him in order to capture him and give him all the necessary care. Finally, after various attempts, on Saturday 4 February Ghost got caught:
“When he entered that box, he immediately sat down. I think he was relieved too,” McMullen’s team said.
Ghost has shown no signs of aggression and will be put up for adoption once he is healed. Of course, there will be a lot to teach him, but the little guy seems to have a great desire to learn to love!
