Dogs are extremely loyal creatures. This little dog has proved once again that loyalty is essential for him.
Bobby followed his mistress’s funeral procession and walked all the way on his paws, crossing more than 3 kilometers to greet her.
Time to say goodbye
The friends and relatives of an old lady from a Malaysian village set off in a funeral procession to bury her.
When Leong Khai Wai, the lady’s great-grandson, turned to look, he realized the dog was following them.
Bobby must have guessed that the procession had something to do with his favorite human, because he wasn’t in the habit of chasing after his family.
But this time he hit the road and left the house so as not to lose sight of her. It’s unclear whether they took the puppy to their car, but there are photographs of Bobby lying on the edge of the deceased’s grave, thanks to Leong who shared them on Facebook.
A loyal dog
The faithful dog closely watched the proceedings and refused to leave his post at the side of the grave until it was filled with earth.
At the end of the funeral, the pet returned home with Leong and the husband of the deceased (the boy’s great-grandfather). Friends and family who witnessed the moment stayed extremely moved.
“They said it was the first time they had seen such loyalty from a dog,” Leong says.
