What will this kitty do with a boiled potato?

Cats are absolute carnivores. This means that, unlike dogs, whose diet must be varied, meat is the basis of the cat’s menu.
However, it is known that many felines are fond of milk or dairy products (although they shouldn’t!), but it turns out that there are also specimens with completely surprising tastes!
How good!
In the video we see the owner putting a plate on the table with one inside boiled potato. Apparently, the nearby tricolor cat was waiting for nothing else! He throws himself on the potato with a huge appetite and what’s more, he purrs while he eats.
A few moments later, in the same video, another cat sniffs a fried potato and let’s say that it doesn’t have the same reaction as the previous feline: the retching says it all! Who knows how the dog next to him will have reacted instead.

Can a cat eat potatoes?
It may surprise you to learn that potatoes are included in the ingredients of some cat foods.
Adding potatoes to your meat formulation is a better idea than adding grains. It’s important to remember that starch is a carbohydrate and that there should be very little of it in a cat’s diet!
