Heidia New York-based animal welfare activist, takes care of Stray cats since many years.
Many people in her neighborhood know about her work and let her know when they come across a helpless cat wandering around.
Fluffy red kitten!
This was the case with the red kitten of the borough of Brooklyn. He was only a few weeks old when passersby saw him and told Heidi.
To catch this and other strays, Heidi uses traps and food baitsespecially sardines.
The kitten, however, had not only eaten his fill, but had practically wallowed in the sardines, giving off a smell of fish!
Of course, this couldn’t go on: he needed a nice bath!
A warm bath for the kitten
Since the animal rights activist didn’t have a basin at home, she used one large cooking pot as a bathtub for the kitten and filmed the tender scene.
The little feline endured everything with great patience. Perhaps he understood that a new and better life was about to begin for him. Of course, the red kitten has also been given a name: Topsy.
About 8 million people watched the sweet video of the lost kitten being bathed.
After medical treatment, it will be given up for adoption. We hope you find a nice new home where you won’t have to go hungry anymore!
