Human cruelty knows no bounds. Fortunately, there are also people in the world who are not indifferent to the fate of animals.
Here is the story of a visibly neglected and sick dog who was given a second chance at life.
A dog in pitiful condition
The inspectors of the public benefit organization OTOZ Animals, in Poland, had to act quickly. They received a report about a dog named “Elżbietka” extremely neglected.
These are the words of the association’s employees on Facebook, where they published photos of the poor four-legged:
“When we arrived at the indicated address, we did not believe that an animal could live in such a kennel, and we saw a languid dog, covered in excrement, barely standing. He had a huge tumor on his stomach, slept in freezing mud, was malnourished and covered in faeces!”
A long treatment
The dog immediately went to the operating table, where hers was removed huge tumor. However, this is not the end of the treatment. The 8-year-old dog also has paw abnormalities, which are being diagnosed.
