Jayden Denton is a child with sensory integration dysfunction (SID). When he’s overly stimulated by a situation and doesn’t understand what’s happening to him, he sometimes has crying fits that last for a while.
During these attacks, no one can reassure him or to calm him down.
There really is someone!
This was the case until a kitten entered his life! It happened about three years ago, in 2019. Jayden’s family adopted Kitty in a shelter.
Kitty, playful and curious, soon revealed that she has more than one ace in the hole. While Jayden’s parents thought she would run away during the boy’s seizures, the cat stayed with him giving him great help.
The basin method … it works!
As soon as Jayden starts crying, Kitty rushes over to him and licks his head until he calms down and stops crying.
It is truly impressive, because nothing and no one else can reassure the little one in these moments!
One day, TonyaJayden’s mom managed to capture this touching moment in a video:
My son in a melt down this cat can sense it and calms him down every time! For licensing/commercial usage, please contact [email protected]
