The Golden Retriever is a very popular breed of dog among hunters because it is naturally gifted for catching game and even more in the water!
So we may be surprised that McGeea 6-year-old Golden, befriended so easily Daffya very nice duck but a bit sticky!
An unusual friendship
It all began when this lonely duck came up to McGee, who was resting on the grass by the pond.
The dog could not help but be surprised by this sudden approach, but a tender friendship was born between the two animals.
Since then, McGee’s owner has had a lot of fun seeing that the little dog got into the curious habit of to let the fearless duck ride on his back, before slipping into the pond to take a dip together!
McGee even lets Daffy sample her food for breakfast, and Daffy likes to take a digestive nap on her canine friend’s back. They basically spend all their time together and make everyone who sees them smile!
Like many Golden Retrievers, McGee is patient and kindwhich allows him to be a great friend of Daffy’s!
