the desperate cry for help of a family whose nightmare has come true

It’s hard to imagine what this family has been through in recent months. Their two French Bulldogs, I am e Savannahwere stolen from their holiday home in northern France last summer.

Thankfully, the owners have retrieved one of the puppies, I am two years old, 59 km from home. But there are still no clues as to where Savana might be or who kidnapped her.

Such a cruel act

The family contacted the police, spoke to all local animal shelters and spent weeks scouring the area for Savana.

But nothing worked. Subsequently, family members launched a petition it’s a social media campaign to hopefully find Savana and bring her home.

The Desperate Call

The family also sent a desperate appeal to the thieves of Savana in hopes they might read it and feel guilty enough to return the dog.

«A month has already passed without you, Savana – reads the Facebook post -, a month in which we cannot stop worrying about you, hoping that you are treated well and that you are safe. We miss you love.”

And keeps going:

“I’m crying writing these words because I’m thinking the worst, which is that we will never see you again. Whoever took Savanna, please with all my heart, let him come back to us.’

Dog thefts are on the rise. Heartless criminals know they can sell stolen dogs for large sums of money. The most popular breeds (especially puppies) can sell for thousands of dollars.

We sincerely hope that Savana will be able to embrace her family again soon.
