The paw on the heartthe refuge of Trani that hosts it, has published a important appeal for this very sweet but unfortunate dog.
Mommy’s story
Mamy was found on the streets of Trani a few weeks ago and taken to the shelter The paw on the heart.
At the Apulian refuge, the four-legged has given birth to hers second litterwhile unfortunately the first took place in the street, seeing her puppies taken away and being left alone.
Volunteers are doing everything to prevent history from repeating itself again. Mamy will obviously stay with the puppies until they are weaned but the operators fear that, once the puppies are adopted, the four-legged mother will be left to fend for herself.
The desperate call of the volunteers
Future adopters will certainly have to wait before being able to adopt her, but they will be able to follow the story of the dog by staying in touch with the volunteers.
“Mamy has already suffered too much. Remember that the dogs to conquer are the ones that will leave you a special mark for life!», they write in their appeal on Facebook.
«We are looking for a family for Mamy capable of respecting her times. Those people with a rare heart, full of empathy for the weakest. Let’s not leave her alone again», the volunteers conclude hopefully.
