In a private house in the province of Rovigo a hound reduced in condition skeletal by the Zoofile Guards ofBAD, International Animal Protection Organization.

The dog, now skin and bones, was locked up in a fence and the alleged “owner” was absent at the time of the kidnapping.

The Zoophile Guards of the OIPA received one report from passers-by concerned about the dog’s condition:

“As soon as we received the report, we intervened and, after having ascertained the poor animal’s condition, we contacted the Public minister who gave us the order to proceed immediately with the kidnapping of the dog », explained the coordinator of the zoophile guards of the Oipa di Rovigo, Antonio Buson.

The pseudo “owner”, if it can be defined as such, was absent at the time of the seizurebut it showed up soon after:

“With the help of the Carabinieri we had to face the threatening attitude of the man who arrived in the meantime,” continues Buson.

A new home

Now for the hound, say about 6 years and being treated by a health facilityhe expects a family that can give him all the love it deserves and that can make him forget the past.
