The love one feels for a dog is fully understood only by those who have a dog. And there’s nothing you can’t do for him, including gifts a few hours of happiness.

Felipe and Ana I’m a couple of spanish globetrotters. They tell their travels on a specially created Instagram page.

This fall 2022 they wanted to do something special for their elderly and much loved sand colored Labrador called Bongo.

A beautiful gift

Bongo has it now 15 years and never set foot on one beach long since.

“We took our little dog to Cabo de Gata so that he could see the sea after several years”, are the words that accompany the video with over 4 million views.

The images show a beach near Almería, in the southern Spainwhere Felipe takes Bongo in his arms and carries him to shore.

Once placed on the ground, the Labrador walks wobbly until they reach the sea, even dropping into the water to immerse themselves completely.

A moment of pure happiness

At one point, during the video we see this very moving writing:

‘He spent some time looking out to sea.’

Pictures have touched the heart of many users. Many of them left comments full of emotion: «I did the same with my dog. I had to hold back the tears so as not to cry bitterly when I thought it was his last time on that beach that gave us both so much peace ».

“It’s a mix of feelings. I laughed when I saw her ears flutter and I shed a few tears when I saw that she was struggling to walk properly ».

«Anyone who has never had a dog cannot imagine how much one can love him». That’s it…
