Each year, the summer season at Bergkamen’s outdoor pool in Germany ends with a traditional swim with the dogs.
Four-legged friends can splash around in the pools as they please. Look how much they have fun!

This time, however, it’s a bit special. The pool has not only closed for the end of the summer season, but after the swim on September 3, the wave pool will close its doors forever after 51 years.
Once again the little four-legged ones were allowed to dive into the waves of the outdoor pool and the happiness was great!
239 dogs splash around in the wave pool
Like every year, the pool initiative has been a success: a total of 239 dogs have fun in and out of the water.
And the icing on the cake: after a bath, four-legged friends can even get a new haircut from the groomer or learn a few tricks from the trainer.
As always a great success for dog and owner, as a couple from Bergkamen reveals to the local press:
“This is the most anticipated time of the year. We have no other commitment for that day! ».
Such a shame that this pool has to close forever!
