It’s coming homechanted the English fans before the final of the European Championship, England-Italy. It’s coming Romethe Italian fans answered him after the victory.

Far from wanting to mock the English national for its defeat against France at the World Cup in Qatar (also because we haven’t even seen Italy through binoculars), the red and white players brought home a trophy much more important of a cup that is causing the whole world to discuss everything behind it.

Dave the mascot

As soon as you arrive at their hotel in QatarEngland footballers found themselves sharing their food with a gray kitten who went to see them every night.

Two Manchester City players, John Stones e Kyle Walkerattached to Dave, this is the name given to the kitten, they had promised that if they won the world championship they would adopt him and bring him to England.

It’s coming home!

And in the end the English fans can really sing It’s coming home! Because despite England being knocked out by France in the quarter-finals, the two City players still decided to bring along the Qatari kitten.

He has now received all the necessary pre-departure care from a local veterinary clinic and is ready to travel to the UK where he will however need to stay in quarantine for four months. A somewhat longish period, but which will open the doors to a bright future.
