The interpreter has published an affectionate tribute – which went viral within a few hours – to his cat along with some beautiful words:

As Hopkins presses the keys, Niblo listens attentively, but suddenly turns and look lovingly its human. When faced with such a gesture, the Welsh interpreter does the same and smiles at him.
The story of Anthony Hopkins and his beloved cat
Niblo appeared in the actor’s life by accident. While Hopkins he was making a movie in Budapest (Hungary), someone brought a stray cat to the hotel where he was staying in the hope of giving the animal a new life.
Hopkins and his wife they fell in love with the cat and after a few weeks; the feline was at home in California surrounded by toys, attention, care and lots of love. The couple decided to baptize him with the name of Niblo, an affectionate Welsh term for a small child.
Over the years, the actor and his beloved tabby cat have had a close relationship. One of the performer’s passions is painting, which is why Niblo appears in many of his paintings (some of them can be seen on Hopkins’ Instagram account.
People who follow the actor on social media are well aware of the strong bond he had with Niblo. They were inseparable and enjoyed each other’s company.
Unfortunately Hopkins has suffered a great loss in his life. Although we are convinced that wherever he is, Niblo will take care of his human of him.
