A normal day of celebration could end in tragedy. A family living in the Australian city of Darling Downs she was shocked when she saw what their cat had left among the Christmas Gifts.
Never, unwrapping the gifts, would they have imagined what was about to happen…
An unusual gift!
Well, their cat had decided to give them a present unusual and downright dangerous.
In the parcels with gifts placed under the Christmas tree was a 60-centimeter snake!
A dangerous poison
The cat had surely found the snake during a hunt and thought well it would make the perfect gift for its owners.
The gift, however, caused some panic among the family, who contacted a local wildlife hunterGunter Glaser, who helped them get rid of the uninvited guest.
The reptile was safely placed back in his natural habitat. Fortunately, the animal didn’t bite anyone. As it turned out, it was a brown oriental snake.
Although no deaths from the bite of a representative of this species have been recorded in Australia, it is considered very poisonous and dangerous to humans. A bite can cause symptoms such as nausea, headache and abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, sweating, general weakness, and a change in urine color. Better not to deal with it!
