In october, Frances Castaldo went to a pet store in Lynbrook, United States, for buy a puppy dog.
As soon as he sees Buttons he falls in love with him at first sight and decides to adopt the little Chihuahua.
Unfortunately, the animal was in absolutely no good health, and he soon discovered it …
A sick puppy

Then the shock. The vet explains to her that the dog has several parasites and his condition worsens rapidly: vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite …
In total, he says he spent about 5,000 euros in veterinary expenses.
Frances Castaldo now wants to be reimbursed by the pet shop for the cost of purchasing the puppy, but also for the veterinary bill.
Fortunately for Buttons, he is in good hands and already doing better.
A pet shop already closed by the court
Almost a year ago, the Attorney General’s Office filed a lawsuit against the pet shopbanning him from buying and selling puppies after an investigation revealed that the shop had manufactured fake health certificates and lied on the health, breeds and origins of their puppies to customers.
This ban was lifted in April 2022.
As for Buttons, the pet shop released a statement claiming that it helped Frances Castaldo in every process she went through for her puppy. She also claims she already has paid part of the veterinary care and to be waiting for receipts to pay the other bills.
