Nowadays we are all at search for the perfect photo to be published on social media. But who set these standards of perfection? Who decided that one physique is better than another? Is one animal more photogenic than another?

and thissocial anxiety acceptance of others also pours into our animal friends: how many times are some dogs or cats from shelters rejected because they are considered not beautiful or because they have a small physical defect?

This, fortunately, that’s no longer the case with Monty!

None for Monty

Monty is an adorable big cat who lives in Copenhagen together with little sister Molly. Unfortunately, the little guy was born with achromosomal abnormality who gave birth to him without the nose bridge bonewhich gives it a rather particular face.

Unfortunately, however, not everyone appreciated this distinctive trait and Monty, for 3 years, was discarded and rejected by all possible adopters.

Luckily she comes

But one day Monty’s path crossed that of Mikalawho adopted him and made him a star!

Monty, due to his malformation, tends to to sneeze more than usual and has some small breathing problems. Despite this, he remains a beautiful and affectionate kitty. The cat that every owner would like to have!

Of course, life isn’t always easy for Mikala and Monty: i health problems for both they require care, sometimes even expensive, but the brave human mom will stop at nothing and continue to do her best to give her big cat a happy and healthy life.
