Vancuver, Washington state. A donna was caught in the act thanks to surveillance cameras: arrived in a wooded area abandons his Golden Retriever.
Here is the story of a special puppy who, fortunately, has not found only mean people in his way.
The abandonment
The video surveillance cameras of a house not far from the wooded area of Vancuver, have filmed a scene that gives the chills: it is possible to see a woman as she parks her car, drops her Golden Retriever and returns – alone – in the vehicle.
The dog has just been abandoned.
Alyssa Ottthe woman who filmed the scene, completely dismayed by what she saw and in total disbelief, decided to go and take care of the poor abandoned dog herself until a team from the shelter arrived. I Paw’d It Forward to take care of him.
Towards a new life
Il dog was rescued from the shelter volunteers who shared the video on their Facebook page commenting:
«I would like to take a moment to use this video as a learning experience. In the hope that it will make people think before they think about abandoning their pet ».
The Golden is now in the hands of volunteers, but it is not yet possible to adopt it as it needs all the necessary veterinary checks before it can find a new home.
Let’s just hope that the culprit has been found and punished for her gesture!
