A truly unusual story that of Trickstera dog that many inhabitants of Veuil, in France, they knew having seen him wandering the streets of the town for months. But no one expected the outcome of his story.
The dog was known in the city because had been living on the street for 14 months. One day they managed to capture him to give him a better life. The surprise came later, but we can already anticipate that this brave dog no longer has anything to fear for his future.
Filou is “captured”
The events reached a climax on January 8, 2021. The animal protection association Animal Collective 36 welcomed Filou, a stray Belgian shepherd, whose homeless condition had been denounced by many citizens. In fact, he had been seen wandering around the city for at least a year: frightened, he did not let himself be approached.
After much effort, the dog was caught. The idea was to transfer him to a shelter, but what happened afterwards is really unexpected.
What happens next?
The animal welfare association Animal collective 36 is responsible for verifying the dog’s health and identifying it.
Once at the shelter, the manager then examined the dog and checked if the dog was chipped, which no one really believed.
Filou is lost!
To everyone’s surprise, it turned out that Filou had a chip in which there was the telephone number of a possible owner who lived in Arcachon, a city located in 460 kilometres and almost five hours by car.
Evidently, the volunteers thought the phone number was wrong or belonged to a previous owner.
But no! Hard to believe but he answered the phone on real owner by Filou. The man could not contain hers immense happiness when she learned her dog was still alive.
The man had to provide several details about the dog to certify that he was Filou’s owner. He also explained that the dog he had escaped from his car during a stop on the motorway more than a year earlier.
The owner has been looking for it for a long timeunfortunately in vain, despite long searches.
The fact of have a chip allowed Filou to return home from his beloved master. A moving reunion that took place after 14 months. Never lose hope and thanks microchip!
