The wedge-shaped razbora is a small-sized fish that belongs to a fairly wide carp family. Its body length usually does not exceed 5 cm, and the female is slightly larger and rounder than the male. The characteristic features of these fish are:

  • silvery coloration;
  • colored (orange or red) accents;
  • navy blue wedge on the back of the body (hence the name).

It is worth mentioning that in males the colors are more intense.
