Vinnie e Rocco they are both unusual blue/grey merle furswhich is a genetic pattern that creates a combination of spots and patches of shaded color.
This gives the puppies a distinct look, making them stand out against (most) backgrounds. But there’s one place this adorable duo practically disappears: their mom’s new sofa!
Dogs camouflaged with the sofa
The velvet sofa is the exact same color and pattern as the coats of the two French Bulldogs, giving them the perfect place to hide when, say, they’ve gotten into some trouble!
This similarity, however, forces their mother to systematically look twice before collapsing on the sofa at the end of a hard day.
Find the dog!
The woman even invented a new game for her followers on Instagram, from the series “find the hidden dog”! Can you spot the camouflaged dog on the couch?
speaking to Daily Mailowner Tina Grantham said:
“I don’t think they know they’re blended in with the sofa, but they spend a lot of time hiding behind the cushions and peeking out. Rocco is very affectionate, calm and photogenic. Vinnie is very independent, he likes cuddles but he also loves being alone ».
Owners beware!
This cute couple will inspire many people to seek out merle puppies. However, would-be owners should think carefully about adopting these vastly different dogs.
Merle dogs are predisposed to specific medical conditions, including hearing and vision loss. These problems are expensive to treat and can have a big impact on the dog’s quality of life.
