The story of the brown cat it could even be trivial, because unfortunately it’s not so rare to see fresh adopters change their minds and bring the animal back to the shelter.
But for this kitty, nothing could have predicted the turn that events have taken…
Brought back a week later
Adopted by a family that didn’t have never had a cat before that, Bruno seemed destined for a happy life with very loving owners.
In fact, the 2-year-old furry has never stopped showing his happy about the adoption following his new owners step by step, hugging them, getting on their knees and begging for kisses with head butts. Yet this is precisely what cost Bruno to return to the refuge.
You read that right… Bruno’s owners couldn’t stand this affectionate behavior and simply decided that the cat was too sticky. So they brought him back to the shelter for this surprising and absurd reason.
Furthermore, adopters have also complained about the joy of life of the feline: once out of the shelter, Bruno enjoyed discovering his new life by playing and having moments of “pure madness” in the evening, which did not help the situation since his owners evidently had no idea what make a happy cat.
A door has closed, a door has opened
Astonished and embittered, the staff of the refuge collected poor Bruno, who was a lot on his return depressedand told the baffling story on his Facebook page.
The post obviously left many people speechless and was shared thousands of times, giving Bruno a visibility had the first one.
The case of the unfortunate kitten quickly made its way into the hearts of many cat lovers and the shelter saw explode adoption requests for him. The refuge manager announced that she had received about 50 applications for Bruno, a huge number!
Bruno quickly found his ideal family, but thanks to his story that has attracted the attention of so many potential adopters on social networks, even all other cats of the shelter awaiting adoption found a home in the same period.
