The volunteers of Villalobos Animal Rescue of New Orleans, USA, do not hesitate to intervene when they learn of an emaciated Pit Bull dog restlessly roaming the streets of a run-down neighborhood in the city.
In fact, the conditions of the poor dog are much worse than feared: you can see the ribs under the skin.
A little dog in sad condition
The weak dog is very happy that some people are finally caring for her and treating her in a friendly way.
Her large udders mean she just has given birth to puppiesbut where are they? The rescuers immediately start searching and in the end it is the dog herself who leads them home to her little ones.
What animal rights activists discover is like a punch in the stomach. In fact, the Pit Bull actually belongs to that family and the puppies still live there in the house.
Only the four-legged new mother, whose current owner is in prison, has been kicked out of the house. The person who now lives in that house had allegedly promised to take care of the animal! But obviously he hasn’t done that for a long time.
Will they be able to save the puppies?
Since the resident does not deliver the puppies voluntarily, Villalobos animal rights activists must first obtain a court order.
And then finally things move. Some puppies are visibly scarred from the fact that their mother has not been able to take care of them.
Therefore, the entire litter is brought to the shelter as soon as possible, where the little dog waits impatiently his little children.
The reunion of the little family is a real goosebumps moment. How wonderful that everything turned out so well!
