Safari Park Stukenbrock, Germany: spectators hold their breath when the trainer Wolfgang Lauenburger gives his 14 dogs the decisive signal.

Then the furbabies put on in a row in descending order of height and begin to dance the Conga, a dance which consists of a rhythmic march to be performed while remaining in single file. Each dog advances with its paw resting on the back of the one preceding it and the “train” thus formed winds its way to the rhythm of the music!

Conga gives record!

The images testify that Emma, Filou, Fin, Simon, Susy, Maya, Ulf, Speck, Bibi, Katie, Jennifer, Elvis, Charly and Cathy manage to advance more than five meters from the start while remaining with their paws firmly resting on the dog’s back which precedes them. There are no doubts: ecco the new world record the Conga line!

Never before so many dogs, ben 14, they managed to hang in line dancing the Conga so well! And for this reason their record was entered in the Guinness Book of Records.

See for yourself what a feat!

Competition… in the family

By the way, this is the tenth world record that Lauenburger has set with his dogs! And her toughest competition is found in the same family as her!

Indeed his daughter Alexa12, is as good a dog trainer as her father and formerly held the record for Canine Konga with six dogs in line. Years ago she won The Super talent and participated in Britain’s Got Talent e America’s Got Talent.

At home, father Wolfgang and daughter Alexa love each other very much and support each other in everything. But when it comes to records, they are both extremely ambitious and they inspire each other.
