Gluttony is the venial sin of many dogs, which really can ingest everything they find. And some manage to swallow even handkerchiefs, paper bags or socks. Strange but absolutely true!
The Beagle Beau is a true sucker! A real rascal, as his owner reports, Lucy Elliotwho must always keep an eye on him.

As Lucy shared on Facebook, Beau was caught red-handed while … yes ate a sock! Lucy just didn’t know what to do in front of such a scene.
So without thinking too much she decided to call the vet who advised her to urgently bring her dog to the clinic, because the sock could have caused him permanent damage to the stomach.
Emergency therapy
Arriving at the clinic, Beau immediately received the first treatment: the vet gave him an emetic in order to make him reject the sock and prevent intestinal obstruction.
The moment Beau started throwing up … the vets were left speechless! The little dog hadn’t eaten a single sock, but nine!
Will he have learned his lesson?
Beau has been immortalized in a photo that says it all: here he is with him gaze of those who combined it big with all the socks he had swallowed on display!
Lucy, her mistress, hopes her dog has learned her lesson once and for all, after the ordeal she experienced at the vet, while the doctors point out that it is a true miracle that the Beagle came out unscathed after such a indigestion!
