Joey was adopted a few months ago at a charity from Cathy Larsona great animal lover with a particular sensitivity for the most needy.

“I can’t imagine this house without him. I will forever be grateful to Joey,” Cathy told The National Desk.

Joey it has no front legsbut despite this he is a happy and healthy puppy: «He has no problems, he just needs a little additional care and treatment, but it’s worth it».

Very friendly e activeJoey loves spending time with his human and his four-legged friends: dogs Shady, Chardonnay, Brandy, Bodo and Murphy and Autumn the cat.

“He has no idea he’s different,” Cathy added.

Larson said she’s always surrounded by animals, but she wouldn’t want it to be any other way.

“We can learn so much from animals. They have no judgments. They accept everyone for who they are. There is no obstacle too great for them.”

And about the Puppy Bowl, the woman said that Joey’s uniqueness, which moves with a special cart, is part of what makes him perfect for the event:

“Joey can hold his own. He’s a tough guy!”

The goal of the Puppy Bowl

Participants will be divided into two teams, Team Ruff and Team Fluff, and everyone can’t wait to take to the field at the stadium and show off their athletic skills to try and win the Lombarky trophy.

The ultimate goal, in addition to the prize, is to hope to find future adopters of these very nice dogs!

The event mimics a football game similar to the Super Bowl, but with shelter dogs. The show consists of footage of a series of puppies playing inside a model stadium, with commentary on their actions.

Happy Puppy Bowl and may the best man win!
