Born on 24 September 2000, the four-legged grandfather has just celebrated his 22nd birthday.

She was only two years old when her path crossed with Alex’s. At that time, the boy was a sophomore at the University of Colorado.

The dog quickly integrated into his new life. He likes to run in the snow and spend most of his time under the coffee table.

As Alex tells us, Gino spent a few years with his family parents in order to finish the studies:

“It seemed to me the most responsible thing to do at the time,” the young man told local media.

Once he graduated, Alex got his pet back and built his life by his side. For the young man, Gino’s longevity is linked to a healthy diet and the constant presence of family and friends.

Today Gino’s owner hopes that his four-legged friend’s age will allow him to raise funds and raise awareness of pet adoption:
