The facts took place on August 9, 2022 in the town of Alfortville in the Val-de-Marne. Neighbors had the reflex to film the offender mistreating her Chihuahua and her American Staffordshire Terrier. The informed authorities did what was necessary to get them out of their hell.

The shocking video has since been deleted from the city’s Facebook group. However, it allowed to indict the 66-year-old American.
Indeed, on the sequence of less than a minute, we could clearly observe the woman walking her 2 dogs in the street Paul Vaillant Couturier. The Chihuahua was held unceremoniously by the scruff of the neck or by the ears.
The outraged passers-by therefore called out to the offender who replied: “You have no rights! What is that ? Are we in a totalitarian country? Not a democracy.
It didn’t take more than the mayor of the town, Luc Carnouvasimmediately contact the animal protection association Stephane Lamart and complain to the police.
An intervention in an unsanitary house
2 days after the events, on August 11, 3 volunteers from the association and the police came to the woman’s home.
“When they opened the door, they immediately noticed a strong nauseating odor suggesting that the apartment was in an unsanitary state. The walls were filthy and lots of excrement was strewn on the floor. The American Staffordshire female dog was tied to a radiator. The lady once again carried the chihuahua by the neck”the organization said on its website.

Despite long negotiations, the owner of the canines refused to give up her animals. The team therefore left empty-handed, but not resigned, relates Actu.
On August 16, officers stopped the woman outside her apartment building and checked the papers of the 6-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. The floor of Creteil also ordered a veterinary visit which justified the seizure of the unfortunates.
Indeed, they suffered from health problems related to abuse and neglect: flea infestation, hair removal, untreated urinary tract infection, cervical hematomas, etc.

The 2 doggies were therefore entrusted to the association Stephane Lamart. They regain strength and relearn to trust humans thanks to the benevolence of volunteers.
The woman, meanwhile, will have to answer for her actions in court.
