Cambridge (UK). They still didn’t have a name when the shelter volunteers The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home – CDCH they found them: scared, underweight and severe skin abrasions.
In short, their health conditions were very bad, but the recovery was so sensational that the association decided to tell it on social networks, step by step, with the hope of giving visibility to the two sweet dogs.
The finding
Lady, a cross with a 10-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, and Stella, a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel-like, were both in very poor health at the time of discovery: skinny, flaky skin and several hairless areas.
Not only that, they also looked very scared, but at least they were together: they could count on each other.
The transformation
Despite the meticulous care of the vets, no one expected one so amazing recovery: in a few weeks the hair of the two dogs began to grow back, and they slowly trust people again.
It took several medical baths and pharmaceutical treatments, patience but above all a lot of love: the results, however, are truly amazing. Judge for yourself:
The two sweet little faces are slowly returning to their authentic splendor and even at the shelter the interactions with others like them and with humans are improving day by day.
Unfortunately for them there has not yet been no proposal for adoption: in fact, an adoption as a couple is required, to avoid further separation trauma for the two sweet friends.
