When a dog has long, thick fur that is not regularly groomed, the coat becomes tangled, matted and felted.
This is the case with the story we are talking about today. A few months ago, the Gaszowice police, in Polandwas called to investigate the case of a man who was clearly neglecting his pet.
Who is under those rastas?
When the police arrived at the scene, she was shocked. The dog didn’t even seem like that anymore, that was it unrecognizable.
The officers immediately kidnapped Flicuś and took him to a kennel. There were so many dirt-encrusted hairs that could not be removed in the traditional way. To avoid pain, the dog had to undergoanesthesia during the whole procedure.
A long grooming process
After 2 and a half hours of meticulous shaving, the veterinary team finally managed to remove all the tangled hair from the poor dog’s body. Flicuś’s skin was covered with sores and irritationsbut the animal was already feeling much better.
With his well-groomed coat, he turned out to be a lovely dog! We are sure he has found a loving home in no time!
