With around 3,500 followers, a cat named Charley conquered almost all the inhabitants of Zwolle (Holland).
And from today he will steal the hearts of thousands of people around the world thanks to his latest gimmick in line at a fishmonger’s.
There, the red-coated cat joined the people in line to get a piece of fresh and tasty fish.
A little fish, please
According to his owner Romy on social networks, the feline usually starts the day with a walk near Watertoren, the Diezerpoort water tower, and then calmly goes to the local fish stall.
But that doesn’t stop there, because Charley has lined up to wait for someone to give him an award. Something that almost always succeeds:
“Some people even ask for more kibbeling – the quintessential fish starter in the Netherlands – for the cat. Besides, she’s a little fat.’
However, the feline’s popularity hasn’t gone to her head. According to the latest images posted on her Instagram account, Charley wait patiently let his turn come.
“He lines up like all the other customers,” the woman stressed.
A very curious cat
Romy also assured that Charley is a very nosy girl. The cat who leaves the house every day to be in contact with people, but always comes back in the evening.
Not only does Charley queue up for a fresh fish snack, this adorable kitty loves it too go to college! And she is often seen among young people studying at the ArtEZ University of Applied Sciences.
“Students take pictures with Charley and sometimes take her inside the building for a while,” her owner said.
He added: “I also get photos of the cat walking between classroom tables, sitting on people’s laps or even lying among library books. The teachers dare not say anything about it, it is madness that they agree!’
Given what has been seen, no one can doubt that Charley is the queen of the fish market, the university, the library… and many other places she frequents every day in her city.
