Some shelter dogs struggle to find adopters. This was the case of Tucker, a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever with a heavy past. It had been abandoned by its former owners. However, he has recently been scouted for his innate ball-fetching skills. He has now become a star!

For more than a year, the man wanted to adopt a dog destined to become a collector of lost balls for his club. When he fell on Truckerhe knew he had finally found the perfect companion.
“It has been the subject of a lot of research. I went there to meet him and assess his skills. And he passed all the tests with flying colors. He was therefore selected by the Draft »said Scott Servais at USA Today.

A timely adoption
Recently, the group formalized the adoption of Trucker on social networks. “We are happy to have him with us as a free agent in our club. It’s really good. After intensive training with a dog trainer, Trucker officially took up his post on Saturday August 6, 2022. His mission: to get the balls from the 4 corners of the stadium and bring them back to their destination without hindering the progress of the game.
The dog full of enthusiasm has found his calling and testifies to his joy at finally being pampered. He even became, in spite of himself, a real star of the favorite sport of Americans.
